Behold the Lamb of God

DearReader,

In this Sunday's Gospel, John the Baptist sees Jesus approaching and proclaims,

"Behold, the Lamb of God"

Many of us are in seasons filled with questions: about relationships, work, faith, and whether what I am doing is enough. This Sunday's Gospel reassures us that uncertainty does not mean absence. God often reveals Himself gradually, as we learn to notice where the Spirit is already at work

For women and mothers, much of life is lived in the ordinary: caring for others, responding to needs, repeating routines, and offering love in ways that often go unseen. This Gospel reassures us that God does not overlook these hidden acts of faith. Like John, we are called not to draw attention to ourselves, but to gently reveal Christ through how we love, serve, and persevere.

As we move through this week, the invitation is simple but challenging:

  • Where am I being asked to notice Christ in the midst of daily responsibilities?
  • How might my faith be pointing my family and those around me toward Jesus, even in small ways?
  • What would it look like to trust that my unseen sacrifices matter?
