Grateful for 2025 -- A Year of Highlights

Hello Reader,

As we come to the close of 2025, we want to pause with grateful hearts to reflect on all that God has done in and through this ministry this year. We are deeply thankful for each person who prayed, served, participated, and said "yes" to building a community of women coming together to grow in Faith through hosting Encounter events, gathering groups to pray and study, retreats, and praying a rosary together.

    • St Patrick's Catholic Church - McCook, NE
      • Here's what people are saying about the retreat
        • “I was hesitant to attend the retreat. I have been Catholic for a long time and attended many retreats, and I will be honest….sometimes they can be kind of boring. This retreat was different….it was engaging, and I loved the opportunity to connect with other women.”
        • “Natalie and Kristin were incredibly professional and so relatable for women of all ages. Their willingness to not only listen but share their own personal stories and experiences about the faith made me feel like I was not alone in my struggles of motherhood. Their examples of reverent Catholic women made me want to grow in my own walk with the Lord."

Overall, 2025 has been a year of faithfulness -- God's and yours! Every conversation, prayer, and act of hospitality mattered and continues to bear fruit. We are especially grateful for the generosity of time, talent, energy, and prayers that so many of you offered this year. Your "yes" made a difference more than you know.

LOOKING AHEAD TO 2026 ...

As we look ahead to 2026, we do so with hope and expectation -- excited for what God will continue to do in and through this community of women.

Continue to grow in Faith and build community. Trusting that our faithfulness to this ministry and service out of love for God and others will bear fruit.

Easter Book Pick

Living Easter: 50 Days to Practice Resurrection

by Laura Kelly Fanucci

Living Easter will help you fulfill the vision of St. John Paul II, who said, “We are an Easter people, and Alleluia is our song!”

As the most significant season of the Church year, Easter deserves to be lived well and celebrated fully, and few voices speak more compellingly about Christian joy than Laura Kelly Fanucci, celebrated author and creator of The Holy Labor newsletter and the Mothering Spirit platform. “Living Easter celebrates joy itself as our Resurrection practice,” Fanucci writes. “Taking up joy as a daily discipline teaches us about feasting as a companion practice to fasting: an intentional sacred act that draws us closer to God."

Dear Friends, This Sunday we hear the beautiful and personal encounter of Jesus with the woman at the well, St Photini. Third Sunday of Lent Gospel: John 4:5-42 This passage formed and shaped the apostolate, but it continues to form and shape each one of us every time we join in mission to grow in Faith and build community. The passage begins so simply: "Give me a drink" Jesus is tired and thirsty. He comes to the well at noon - the hottest part of the day. A woman arrives alone, and instead...

Dear Reader, In this Sunday's Gospel (Matthew 5:13-16), Jesus speaks words that are both simple and deeply reassuring: "You are the salt of the earth.... you are the light of the world." Jesus does not say you should be or you might become -- He says you are. Right where you are, in the midst of our ordinary days, God is already at work through us. Often, we think that faith has to be loud or extraordinary. But Jesus reminds us that his light shines through the small, faithful acts: the...

DearReader, In this Sunday's Gospel, John the Baptist sees Jesus approaching and proclaims, "Behold, the Lamb of God" Many of us are in seasons filled with questions: about relationships, work, faith, and whether what I am doing is enough. This Sunday's Gospel reassures us that uncertainty does not mean absence. God often reveals Himself gradually, as we learn to notice where the Spirit is already at work For women and mothers, much of life is lived in the ordinary: caring for others,...
